The September 2016 Reveal

Hello everyone!! Nora here. We are back with year two of our blog. This month it was my turn to put together the kit and I chose a birthday theme. Who can't use extra birthday cards in their stash?

Here is the kit I created:

I really tried to include something for everyone. Sometimes our style is so different that we have to add bits and pieces or die cuts from the paper we sent but that is okay.

First up is Claudia. She created ten cards from the kit, using two main designs to make all her cards.

Don't you just love how she used the patterned paper on her cards? I wish I was better at using it because I have so much!!

Next is Debbie. She is new to card making and to the kit club. She created three amazing cards with the kit.

I adore how she photographed her cards on that cake stand and her fun use of the patterned papers. I need Debbie and Claudia to teach me how to layer like they do!

Kathleen added a few things to her kit for her cards. She created a whopping EIGHTEEN cards!!

I really like how she used the sequins that were in the kit on her cards.

Jenny's cards are extremely simple. She chose to take a more minimalistic approach to the kit.

I really like the how she used the watercolor patterned paper behind the die cuts like she did.

Rosey does a fabulous job of layering the papers and die cuts on her cards.

I did a double take on the second card thinking I had sent her two "party" die cuts. However, she used the inside pieces of the one I sent her!! So cool! For more pretty projects, visit Rosey's Blog.

Danielle created some fun cards with the kit too. She did a nice job of using g the die cuts from the kit.

I really like how she used all the sequins on the pink card with the hat!!

I created eleven cards but I am only attaching ten here. One I did for a challenge and it will be posted on my blog in a separate entry.

Thanks for visiting and we will be back next month with a kit from Jenny!!

Rosey's Kit

Hi everyone!! Nora here. First I want to thank Rosey for stepping in last month and helping me out with posting. My life has not been my own as of late!! Now onto why you are REALLY here.

It is that time of month again to reveal the cards created by our kit. This month, Rosey sent us some beautiful papers, a bunch of embellishments and sentiments with a birthday theme.

First we have Rosey with her beautiful cards that she created.

I think my two favorite are the animals with the large leaf embellishments!! Rosey always has a way of layering her embellishments that put me in awe.

Claudia made some beautiful cards-one being a cool interactive card!!

I adore how she used all the ribbon on her cards, as well as the fun way she used the leaves.

Virginia made a lovely group of cards too. She created the most out of us all with eight cards!!

I love the simplicity of Virgina's cards and the way she cut up and used the patterned paper as embellishments on her cards.

Danielle's cards have a lot of lovely layers this month.

I love how she staged them for photographing with the clothes pins!!

Kathleen made some pretty cards as well. She added some of her own die cuts to her cards to create some fabulous scenes.

I can tell you that Kathleen used most of the flowers in this kit on her cards. I wish I had her way with them.

I created five cards with the kit. I really tried to stick with the kit, using my dies to enhance the supplies that Rosey sent us. I did well with all but the last card.

Again, I have had so such limited time to create. I think I need to start "scheduling" it into my day every day to get it done!! For more information on how I created the cards, please stop by my blog.

Aren't all the cards wonderful? I love how everyone's card making skills have gotten better with using the kits throughout the last six months. I know it has stretched me to the max!!

Next month we have an unusual treat for you with our reveal so stay tuned!! Thank you for stopping by!!
